A photography tour in the Dolomites is not just a simple trip, but a one-of-a-kind adventure. The stunning scenery of the Italian Alps is unlike anything you've ever seen before, making it the perfect backdrop for capturing unforgettable moments. With the guidance of experienced photography guides, you'll have the chance to learn new techniques, experiment with different compositions, and hone your skills in a truly unique and inspiring environment. Itinerary

Day 0: Before 20 October

Upon arrival at Venice's Marco Polo Airport, we'll provide a recommendation for a hotel in Mestre, allowing you the flexibility to book accommodation at your own expense.

Day 1: 20 October

Start of tour - Leave in the morning for Fiera di Primiero for hotel check-in, photograph Passo Rolle for sunset.

Day 2: 21 October

Experience the enchanting sunrise at Baita di Segantini (Pale di San Martino), then bid farewell to the hotel as we embark on a picturesque drive to Misurina. The day concludes with a mesmerizing sunset at Cinque Torri

Day 3: 22 October

Witness the majestic sunrise at Passo Giau, followed by an awe-inspiring sunset at Tre Cime di Lavaredo. As night falls, indulge in captivating night photography at Lago De Antorno, capturing its serene beauty under the stars.

Day 4: 23 October

Begin your day with the breathtaking sunrise at Lago Di Braies, where the tranquil waters mirror the morning sky. Then, as the day draws to a close, marvel at the captivating sunset amidst the rugged peaks of Cadini di Misurina.

Day 5: 24 October

Commence your day with the serene sunrise at Lago De Antorno, where the morning light dances upon the tranquil waters. Afterward, check out and journey to Ortisei for check-in, preparing for an evening of exploration. Conclude your day with the enchanting sunset at the picturesque Church of St. John, where the fading light casts a golden hue upon the historic architecture.

Day 6: 25 October

Embrace the day with the captivating sunrise over Seiser Alm, where the rolling meadows and towering peaks greet the dawn in a symphony of colors. Later, immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of Santa Maddalena as the sun dips below the horizon in a breathtaking sunset display.

Day 7: 26 October

On our final day, awaken to the splendor of sunrise at Alpe di Siusi. Following this memorable experience, we'll check out and embark on a scenic drive to Venice, before our late afternoon or evening departure.

Photography Skill Level

This workshop is well suited for those with basic knowledge of photographing in manual mode.

Classroom Time

Classroom time will be available in the event of poor shooting conditions but the majority of the time will be spent in the field.

Fitness Level

On most of our locations, a light or minimal hike is needed (15 to 30 minutes walk) but there will be a couple of locations (optional) that requires hike up to 1-2 hours. Please make sure that you exercise and have a general check up before the tour.

In autumn the temperature can drop to 55-50F (20-28C) with night time dropping to 30F or -1C.

Warm Hat

We recommend a warm hat that covers your ears.

Warm gloves or mittens are recommended.

A down jacket is recommended. 800 fill is recommended for locations where extreme cold is possible.
